Lauren Soobrian, a senior at Los Altos High in California, placed 10th in the Bill Buettner girls championship race at the 43rd ASICS Clovis Invitational by clocking 17:47.8 on the 5-kilometer course at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Soobrian helped Los Altos produce five scorers in the top 50 to win the team title with 93 points.
